Message of the Most Loving Heart of Jesus
The loving Heart of Jesus is the symbol of the infinite love that impelled the Son of God to become our brother, to die for us on the cross, and to remain forever in the Sacrament of the Altar. Jesus asks each of us to return that love.
The Promise of the Most Loving Heart of Jesus
In various appearances to St. Margaret of Mary Alacoque, Jesus manifested His great love for human beings and made one of the following promises to those who give particular honor to His Sacred Heart.
“I will bless every place in which an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored.”
Prayer of the Most Loving Heart of Jesus
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, living and life-giving fountain of eternal life, infinite treasure of the Divinity, and glowing furnace of love. You are my refuge and my sanctuary. O adorable and glorious Savior, consume my heart with that burning fire that ever inflames your Heart.
Pour down my soul those graces which flow from Your love. Let my heart be so united with Yours that our wills may be one, and mine may in all things be conformed to Yours. May your Will be the rule of both my desires and my actions.
-St. Alphonsus Liguori

Most Beautiful Heart
One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley. A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes. they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. THe young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart. Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, “Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine.”
The crowd and the young man looked at the old man’s heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn’t fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing.
The people stared — how can he say his heart if more beautiful, they thought? THe young man looked at the old man’s heart and saw its state and laughed.
” You must be joking,” he said. “Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears.”
“Yes,” said the old man, “yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love – I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into an empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren’t exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared. Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn’t returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges — giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me fo the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?”
The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks. He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands.
The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from hid old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man’s heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.
The young man looked at his heart, not perfect any more but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man’s heart flowed into his. They embraced and walked side by side.
Thy Kingdom Come!

Enthonement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Home
What is it?
Before you read further, please turn to the promses of our Lord. Then ask yourself: “Do I and my family need these special helps? Do we need peace in our family? Particular blessings for our children? Consolation and courage in the midst of present difficulties? Security in the midst of doubt?”
But you say you’ve tried everything and nothing works? You feel God has abandoned you and your family? Well, if you haven’t tried the means given to us by our Lord Himself — devotion to His Sacred Heart — You haven’t tried everything. You haven’t given Him a chance to prove what He meant when He promised: “Wherever the image of My Sacred Heart is publicly exposed and honored, I will pour our graces of sanctification and salvation. I will touch unfeeling hearts. I will reunite divided families. I will help them in all their needs, “Who made these promises? God! All-wise, all powerful, all merciful.
Enthonement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Family
Fundamentally, this is a crusade to restore the rights of Christ the King of Love over all phses of human activity. WE call it a “crusade for the Social Reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.” But we are first crusading to restore faith — faith in the merciful love of the Redeemer, especially belief in His loving concern for the ones most dear to His heart — the family. Our Lord always demanded faith before He worked a miracle: “All things are possible to him who believes. ” (Mk. 9:22)
As a sign of your faith in our Lord’s understanding love for you and your family we urge you to carry out His own request to enthone a picture or statue of Jesus showing His Heart in a prominent place in your home. Hit is your act of faith in His divine providence that watched over your family; this is your way of saying: “Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have to believe and to know that You are the Christ, the Son of God.” (John 6:68). “Lord save us we perish.” (Lk. 8:22-25) “Have compassion on us and help us.” (Mk.9:13) Then you may expect Him to say to you what He said to the sinner Zachaeus: “Today salvation has come to this house.”
But the “exposing of the image of the Sacred heart is only the first step. Our Lord also asked us to “honor” His Heart. So, the next is to say the Apostles Creed as an act of faith in His love. Something else: Jesus asked us to tell Him that we will try to love Him more than we have; that we will express that love by trust in the midst of trouble, by greater fidelity to duty, more frequent (or perhaps more faithful) Mass and Communion. This is the meaning behind the “Act of Consecration” of your family to the Sacred Heart whom you have just enthroned. Other prayers follow, ending with a familiar prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Queen and the Mother of every home: the “Hail Holy Queen.”
This briefly is the ceremony of the Enthronement. It last about 15 minutes. But it will prove to be the best quarter of an hour you ever spent, provided you follow through on a few simply suggestions. The Enthronement ceremony is the “kick-off,” or the “launching pad,” the inauguration” of a new way of life for you and your family — a life of greater peace and happiness and unity. In the ceremony, you have proclaimed Christ the Lord, the King, the Head of your family. You have “invited” Him into your home to share its ups and downs, its joys and sorrows. That’s the first step. The second is even more important.
